William R. Leonard Home / Hillcrest

Originally built by Professor William R. Leonard, who completed the first part in 1872, and later sold it to Leonidas Cartwright.

Cartwright enlarged the house to twelve rooms in 1878. Mr. Willie Sharp purchased the home in 1910, and Dr. Curtis Haley bought the home in 1957.
